About Little Wild Play Club
At Little Wild Play Club, we believe in the power of nature to inspire deep learning and spark joy. Our Forest School approach fosters curiosity, resilience, and a deep connection to the environment, all within a friendly and supportive community setting.
The Playgroup is run by me, Leonie; I'm an experienced Early Years and Primary School Teacher with a passion for play and deep understanding of Child Development (built on almost two decades of teaching and raising my own three wildlings!) I am also a Children's Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher and Level Three Forest School Leader. I created this special little group to combine all of my learning and passions to offer a calm and welcoming space to raise our little ones in nature and nourish their development through play. These enriching outdoor experiences that build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for the natural world. Being outside, gathering with others and being immersed in nature is so beneficial for us grown ups and our inner children too!
Located in the heart of Wollaton, Nottingham, Little Wild Play Club is more than just a playgroup; it's a community where children learn, grow, and bloom in nature. I hope you'll join us soon!

What parents say
"We love attending Little Wild Play Club!
Leonie runs a wonderful, chilled forest school session in Wollaton and takes so much care and attention to detail to provide exciting invitations to play for children of all ages. I’ve attended sessions as a mum of children aged 2-12 years and a childminder with multiple children aged 0-4 years too and we always have a great time.

"Lovely group, great for little ones to get out in nature and explore. My grandson loves the story and hot chocolate around the camp fire with his friends. Leonie’s passion for outdoor learning and yoga shines through in these sessions, I can really recommend Little Wild Play Club."

"Meeting the wonderful Leonie, who shares the same values and who is passionate about creating a safe and enticing space for our little ones, meant we could enjoy forest school local to us!"
Delphine W.
"We love coming to Little Wild Play Club because my boys can be themselves here. They are wild and being wild is celebrated here. They are encouraged to explore, take risks and be independent. Leonie is so inspiring, patient and calm, she makes the playgroup a perfect space for even the most anxious mums. There’s lots of different activities which encourage learning by play. And the cherry on top is sitting by the campfire and toasting pancakes or hot cross buns whilst listening to a lovely nature inspired story."
